Dave Gilsvik lives and paints out of his rural Two Harbors home with his wife Patti. An Art Colony student back in the 70s, Dave studied at the Minneapolis College of Art and the University of New Mexico. For many years he painted billboards, signs, and wall murals. One morning he woke up and started painting again. He has never looked back. Dave’s paintings can be seen at Sivertson’s Gallery in Grand Marais and Duluth.
