Printmaking Intensive: Seeing Possibilities
May 29 - June 1, 2014; 4 days; 9am - 5pm
Location: Eco-Friendly Print Studio
Dedicate time for printmaking, engage in stimulating discussions, and refresh your outlook on your creative process. This opportunity is for painters and printmakers who want to reflect and explore new possibilities and directions while having fun in a community setting. The format will include demonstrations, group and individual discussions, and dedicated work time. Students will focus on monotypes—a “painterly” printmaking process – and relief printmaking using linoleum blocks. Everyone will leave class with a small body of work and with new insight into their own creative process.
This class is offered through a partnership between the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and the Grand Marais Art Colony.
This class will be cancelled on Thursday, May 22, 2014,
if minimum enrollment has not been met. Please register before this date.
