In this hands-on class, students will create small open mold glass castings. Class emphasis will be on the process of kiln-casting. Students will design clay models, produce plaster molds, fill these with colored glass, kiln fire and divest their finished sculptures. Additional kiln-casting techniques will be explored. Previous glass experience is helpful, but not necessary.
