Create clay objects in porcelain and stoneware to decorate and glaze during Part II. Learn to throw and hand-form functional and decorative bowls, tiles and other clay objects in shallow relief that accentuate glaze decoration. This class is focused on diversifying your skills and increasing your technique in both throwing on the potter's wheel and hand-forming. Some clay experience is recommended. This class is intended to be taken with Part II which focuses on glazing and decoration techniques, however, it is possible to take just Part I.
