Howard Sivertson demonstrates the process of watercolor painting for traditional/representational artists. Emphasis will be placed on improving watercolor techniques including: value sketches, design, composition, rendering, wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry, as well as experimenting with the unexpected flexibility of the medium. Each morning Howard will demonstrate a specific technique of his approach to painting landscape scenes. Students will work individually throughout the afternoon on the technique of the day. Howard will be available for individual critiques.
